MY STORY
How it began
My name is Adilenne Rodríguez; I am a good Mexican who has also been celebrating since I was born, the 15th of September at midnight, while my country‘s people celebrated with a huge fiesta called el grito de la independencia. So, it makes sense that I have always had a love for celebration from early childhood because I was always the one in charge of providing the entertainment for the family parties/dances, and I loved the feeling of bringing everyone together.
Serving wholeheartedly and creating experiences that impact a person‘s life, being memorable, is a lifelong passion of mine. This love of event hosting has become my career. I started working in Riviera Maya after I finished college with a degree in Tourism and later moved to Los Cabos, where I specialised in luxury hospitality, destination weddings, and guest experiences of a high level of quality.
Prior to starting VOWEN, I held a number of positions with various luxury hotels in Mexico (Grand Velas Los Cabos, Mar del Cabo) where I was responsible for wedding sales, group experiences and event coordination for clients from all over the world. After many years of working with some of the best venues in the region and collaborating with the best planners and hospitality teams, I have learned how to produce events that create a sense of flow and purpose while also feeling very personal.
THE WORK
Planning and design, as one
At VOWEN, planning and design are never separate. I take care of every logistic of your wedding, from venue and suppliers to budget and timeline, while shaping its visual direction from the first sketch to the final detail. Every decision is part of one vision, so the celebration feels cohesive and entirely your own.
Earlier this year 2026 I completed the Vogue Wedding Planner course at Vogue College of Fashion, focused on the design and organization of weddings and events. It sharpened the way I approach every celebration: as something worthy of a page in a magazine, and made to be lived in.
That training joined years of experience in luxury hospitality in Los Cabos, where I learned how the finest venues in the destination truly work. At Carola Flower Lab I refined my eye for floral design and styling, and I trained as a South Asian Wedding Specialist with the South Asian Wedding Institute, learning to honor the traditions and complexity of multi-day celebrations
You choose how involved you want to be. Some couples wish to see every decision. Others prefer to trust the process and simply arrive. Either way, I anticipate what is needed so that you can be entirely present on your day.
